Man and Machine

Brief: To source for a luxury country house hotel, 1 hour radius from Oxford. This was a Christmas party event for 60 people with the allocation of 30 bedrooms.

First Stage:

AJM Venue Finders began with a full search of the surrounding area and contacted a number of luxury hotels. A proposal was then drawn up and sent to the client for consideration. Accompanying this, AJM also arranged a number of site visits to the hotels so the client could see the venues for themselves.

Second Stage:

A more in-depth search was conducted and any hotels that did not respond were chased up. With only 5 months until Christmas most hotels were fully booked, so this task proved particularly difficult. However, AJM's experience ensured that a proposal was sent to the client, and additional site visits were arranged.

Third Stage:

The third stage yielded better results and a suitable hotel was located. The only drawback being this venue was undergoing refurbishment. But thanks to AJM Venue Finders, the hotel confirmed that even though the hotel was being refurbished, this would not cause a problem to the client. The hotel was subsequently booked and proved a great success for both the venue and the client.
