Brief: To locate a themed restaurant for a local government networking dinner with 50-70 people.
The search for a suitable venue commenced with local restaurants, although this proved somewhat difficult since many restaurants are small, family-run businesses, who cannot usually cope with a large number of delegates. AJM then searched restaurants in hotels, which yielded good availability. However, the client had requested an ethnic themed restaurant, so the search for the perfect venue continued.
After a large search a few restaurants that would commit to the large number of people were located. A second proposal was then sent highlighting a number of themed restaurants, and also including the different types of ethnic entertainment that was available. After discussion with a particular restaurant and negotiations on the cost and menu selection, AJM finally managed to confirm a suitable venue for the event. The end result was an evening of excellent food and entertainment for all.
