Hampton Court Palace
This beautiful and stunning palace in South West London was historically home to a number of monarchs, including King Henry VIII. The former royal palace has been the venue for some of the most lavish and extravagant celebrations over the years and is an excellent location for conferences, weddings, dinners and receptions.
The Garden Room, with its glass-panelled doors and private terrace leading to the palace gardens, is a spacious and airy room that’s flexible enough to hold conferences, parties, dinners, balls, wedding receptions and more.
The palace also offers a number of other features, including the impressive Cartoon Gallery. Sir Christopher Wren originally built this room within the palace for William III, sometime between the years 1689 and 1702. Original 16 th Century cartoon paintings decorate the walls of the room, which can handle up to 300 guests for receptions and 200 for dinners.
The Great Hall is another impressive venue within the palace and has capacity for up to 400 people for receptions and 280 for dinners. Henry VIII could regularly be found eating his dinner in this hall, which has also seen Shakespeare perform his works.
The palace also has excellent contacts with suppliers and specific requests can more often than not be catered for. If your event requires flowers, catering, entertainment or otherwise, please state this in your enquiry.
