Events at Warwick Castle
Set in 60 acres of grounds, Warwick Castle is a perfect example of mediaeval architecture. The stunning castle is situated in the town of Warwick on the River Avon and now plays host to a range of corporate events, weddings, business meetings, parties, concerts, Halloween events and even Christmas lunches.
The castle's Summer Conference season is particularly popular with top entertainment acts, including chart-topping musicians, performing for the crowds. The castle also holds regular music and fireworks extravaganzas. The 2007 show featured exclusive performances from the orchestra of the Welsh National Opera and ended with a spectacular fireworks finale.
The 14th Century Great Hall and 18th Century State Dining Room are two of the castle's most important function rooms. The Great Hall caters for up to 150 people whilst the State Dining Room is perfect for smaller occasions with its more intimate setting. Themed dining can be arranged where guests and staff get into character, dress in mediaeval costume and prepare for a splendid feast. The Kingmaker's Feast and Highwayman's Supper are particular popular with guests.
For an alternative evening of entertainment, the Ghosts and Ghouls Alive package (new for 2008) takes guests on a supernatural journey into the haunted castle towers and turrets. A themed, candle-lit three-course meal is also provided within the castle's undercroft, along with unlimited wine, beer and other refreshments.
